In My Own Words

Passionate wordsmith and storyteller. Brand nurturer and champion. Fervent hater of the status quo. (And husband, dad, and chicken finger connoisseur.)

 

I'm easy going and relaxed, yet fiercely passionate about the pursuit of knowledge and achievement. I began my career knowing precisely nothing about investing, active trading and finance, and in a matter of years became a published author in the space.

 

Similar story with my current role, where I'm the lone copywriter and proud voice behind one of the nation's premier senior living providers. I'm also the sole copy contributor to 26, award-winning works since 2019, when I debuted in this industry.

 

I love what I do, and am pleased with those successes; but I'm also hungry for more, and that's why we're here. For new chances for learning and growth. To appeal to new and/or bigger audiences. To face down higher stakes, break new boundaries, and in the end, through my writing, to be the biggest difference maker that I can be.         

Just a Few More Things...

I embrace opportunities to create diverse content, so don't fixate entirely on all the business and finance samples you'll find in My Portfolio. To date, some of my favorite pieces have actually been grant proposals, articles about online dating, sports, inbound marketing, and even some standup comedy! 

There's one work in particular that's my proudest one of all, though: Traders at Work: How the World's Most Successful Traders Make Their Living in the Markets (Apress, 2013), which is available for purchase online and via booksellers throughout the US, as well as internationally in multiple languages.

Getting published was the realization of a lifelong dream, and a shot of confidence that I feel has helped to elevate my game in the years since. Although I remain humble and eager to continually learn and grow as a writer—as well as a person and professional—I'm as unafraid as I've ever been to take on important challenges, push creative boundaries, and be a prominent voice at the forefront of key industries.
